My name is Lisa Yelder.  I am an Education Specialist and Department Chairperson for our Education Success Team. This is my 6th year teaching at Martin Luther King Jr. Junior High School.  I have more than 17 years of teaching experience and have been a teacher at Contra Costa County Office of Education, Oakley Union Elementary School District, and the Department of Justice as a GED Adult Educator. In addition to teaching, I am a Veteran of the United States Navy.  My hobbies include riding my bicycle, and visiting museums, and beaches with my husband and children.
