Ms. Winford is in her 20th year working in education and 4th year as Principal of MLK Jr. JHS. Ms. Winford earned her BA degree and Credentials from San Francisco State University and Masters Degree in Social Work from CSU, East Bay. Her career began in San Francisco Unified as a middle school teacher and later becoming a School Social Worker. Ms. Winford then began working as an Administrator in Oakland Unified, West Contra Costa Unified and Liberty Union High School districts. Ms. Winford is excited to welcome our newest Tiger scholars and families and welcoming back returning scholars and families for the 2025-2026 school year. Go TIGERS!
